FINISH COATING
After preparing the surface…

 Procedure:

  • You can fill the screw heads with TexNov Acrylic Coating (screws should be rust proof: zinc, ceramic).
  • Apply 2 coats of TexNov Acrylic Coating. Use a brush or roller with 10 mm bristles (24 hours between applying each coat of sealant).
  • Let the surface dry for a 24-hour period before applying the sealant.

Note:

  • TexNov Acrylic Coating will not hide all defects due to an unevenly installed substrate.
SEALANT
After preparing the surface and applying the coating (if necessary) …

Procedure:

  • Apply 2 coats of Met-30 Sealant. Use a brush or roller with 10 mm bristles (24 hours between each coat).
  • Let the surface dry for 24 hours.

Note :

  • All wood surfaces located less than 60” from the ground or poorly ventilated should ideally be sealed on all sides with Met-30 Sealant. This will prevent premature deterioration of the wood due to the migration of moisture from the ground to the sky.
