Preparation and application procedure

PREPARATION
Procedure:

  • Thoroughly rinse the surface with a 2000 pound pressure washer.
  • Apply and brush on TexNov Surface Preparer according to the dilution table.
  • Leave on for 15 minutes, keeping the surface moist.
  • Allow the surface to dry for 24 hours before applying the finishing coat.

Note:

  • In areas where there is RUST, apply a metal primer beforehand.

 
FINISH COATING
Procedure:

  • In hot weather dilute with water (50 ml /per liter) to facilitate application. Surface temperature should not exceed 30°C at application.
  • Apply 2 coats of TexNov acrylic filler . Use a brush or roller with 10 mm bristles and leave 24 hours between each coat.
  • Allow the surface to dry for 24 hours before applying the sealant.
SEALANT
Procedure:

  • To obtain a surface that will remain beautiful for a long time, apply Met-30 TexNov Sealer or, for horizontal surfaces, WRS-40 TexNov Sealer. Use a brush, a roller with 10 mm bristles or a sprayer.
  • Let the surface dry for 24 hours.

MAINTENANCE :

Clean the surface with TexNov Surface Preparer diluted 9 parts water to 1 part product. Let dry and add a coat of Met-30 Sealer every 3 years or as needed, which should keep your surface in good condition.
