Preparation and application procedure

PREPARATION
Procedure:

  • Clean the surface with a pressure washer
  • Note that if the concrete surface is dry, moisten before applying the TexNov Surface Cleaner.
  • TexNov Surface Cleaner can be applied with a sprayer, following the dilution table below.
  • Rinse with a pressure washer.
  • Let the surface dry for 24 hours prior to applying the finish coating.

 Note:

  • Repair cracks if needed with TexNov All-purpose Polymer.
FINISH COATING
Procedure:

  • Apply 2 coats of TexNov Acrylic Coating. Use a brush or roller with 10 mm bristles (24 hours between applying each coat).
  • Let the surface dry for 24 hours before applying the sealant.

 Note:

  • The appearance of your wall will be of uniform colour while retaining the rustic appearance of the aggregate.
SEALANT
After preparing the surface and applying the coating (if necessary) …

Procedure:

  • You can apply TexNov WRS-40 Sealant to waterproof the surface. (Optional) Use, brush or roller with 10 mm bristles or sprayer
  • Let the surface dry for 24 hours.

MAINTENANCE :

Clean the surface with TexNov Surface Cleaner diluting 9 parts of water on 1 part of product. Let dry and add a coat of WRS-40 Sealant every 5 years or as needed. This should enable you to keep your surface in good condition.
