Preparation and application procedure

PREPARATION
Procedure:

  • Clean the surface with a pressure washer.
  • Note that if the concrete surface is dry, dampen it before applying TexNov Surface Preparer.
  • Dilute the Surface Prep according to the table below.
  • The Surfacepreparation
    TexNov
     can be
    applied
     with a sprayer, diluting one part of the product with three parts
    of water
    .
  • Rinse with a pressure washer.
  • Repair cracks with TexNov All Purpose Polymer.
  • Allow surface to dry 24 hours before applying finish coat.

Note:

  • Repair cracks if necessary with TexNov All Purpose Polymer or TexNov 200.
FINISH COATING
(After doing the surface preparation)

Procedure:

  • Apply 2 coats ofTexNov Acrylic Coating using a brush or roller with 10 mm bristles and leave 24 hours between coats.
  • Let the surface dry 24 hours before applying the sealant.

Note:

  • The appearance of your wall will be uniform in color while maintaining the rustic look of the aggregate.
SEALANT
After having done the surface preparation and the application of the coating (if necessary)…

Procedure:

  • You can apply TexNov WRS-40 Sealer (waterproof sealer) to waterproof the surface. (Optional). Please use a brush or roller with 10 mm bristles or a sprayer.
  • Let the surface dry for 24 hours.

MAINTENANCE :

Clean the surface with TexNov Surface Preparer (3 waters / 1 Preparer). Let dry and add a coat of WRS-40 Sealer every 5 years or as needed, which should keep your surface in good condition.
